Reproduction top quality Czech made German Luftschutz helmet liner size 57. This particular one is for a 3 rivet helmet that is usually the combat style helmet instead of the gladiator style but it is not always the exact case. Do make certain howmany rivets your helmet shell has. The size of the helmet shells was in the vast majority of cases all the same size and only the liner determined what hat size it would be. The thickness of the cork layered on the liner would be what accommodated the different hat sizes of the liners. As well not many size were seen on the original helmets since they were given out as needed and people would be happy if they could just fit. The liner itself is leather as seen on earlier helmet and then as the war progressed all sorts of other materials were used for the main part of the liner. The band is made of a fibrous materials as were originals The string has been specially sourced to be as close to the original as possible as you can see in the pictures.
